Please remember that the video shown below is in the International Masters Level in a Team competition- the very TOP Level of Working Equitation.
Here, the scoring is purely on ELAPSED TIME taken from the bell being rung, until the selected animal is in the "pen".
Most of the cattle used are also bred from FIGHTING BULL bloodlines, and therefore are handled differently to most other breeds of cattle - and in competition, the same rules of handling are applied.
To reach this level of handling cattle, a stockman/woman needs a huge amount of experience and training, which WERC achieves through the use of adrenaline-free training methods AT ALL THE LOWER LEVELS that qualify to train with stock.
