WERC is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides WERC with the online platform that allows WERC to provide products and services to WERC Website Members and Website Visitors. Website Member and Website Visitor data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and the general Wix.com applications. Wix.com stores Website Member data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and which may be used by WERC adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by the WERC Online Store and any service providers.

How does WERC communicate with Website Members and Website Visitors?

WERC may contact Website Members and Website Visitors to notify them regarding Website Membership Accounts, to troubleshoot problems with Website Member transactions, to resolve any disputes, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll Website Members' and Website Visitors' opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about WERC, or as otherwise necessary to contact Website Members and Website Visitors to enforce the User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement WERC may have with Website Members or Website Visitors. For these purposes WERC may contact Website Members and Website Visitors via email, telephone, text messages, and/or Private Message facilities on Social Media and other applications, wherever possible keeping such messages end-to-end encrypted.
